dance4everyone has a team of dedicated dance professionals providing a range of educational and recreational programmes in the wider Auckland area.

Allie Fitzgerald – Senior Dance Specialist

Allie Fitzgerald established dance4everyone in 2004 to enable people with special learning and sensory needs to experience the benefits and wonders of dance.

Allie has a Bachelor of Dance
degree from AUT, has undertaken post-graduate study in Dance Movement Therapy in Canada, is
a registered teacher with the New Zealand Association of Modern Dance, and is also a qualified
Pilates mat instructor.

Samantha Rawnsley - Dance Specialist

Samantha Rawnsley has been danceing for 24 years in a range of genres. In 2009 she graduated from UNITEC obtaining a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts, majoring in Contemporary Dance.

Currently Samantha has a multifaceted career working in many areas of dance. Samantha was a 2010 DANZ intern and a co-founding member of the WIP initiative.

She performed in Tempo 10, Wellington and Auckland Fringe Festivals and has created and performed independent works with Etched Dance Productions. Samantha feels working with dance4everyone is a wonderful way to utilize and combine her passion for dance with her interest in working with people that have special learning needs. Samantha is currently looking into future study plans within this field.
